Privacy & Cookie Policy

1) Overview
Ahmet Görkem Türk ("we", "us", "our") is committed to compliance and to protecting your
privacy and personal data. This Privacy & Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains what personal data
we collect when you use Voitra (the "App"), why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not access or use the App. We may update this
Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. The latest version will always be available
in-App and applies from publication. Please review it periodically.
2) Scope
This Policy applies to personal data that we collect and process about you as a User of the App
and its services.
Age requirement: You must be 18 years or older , or the age of majority in your
jurisdiction, to access and use the App.
3) What is personal data and what do we collect?
"Personal data" means any information that identifies you or can reasonably be used to identify
you. We process:
Data you provide to access and use the App.
Content you submit for translation (e.g., voice, text, images ).
Usage information (e.g., sections visited, time spent) collected via cookies/SDKs .
Device and network data (e.g., IP address , device identifiers, locale, OS).
Billing-related identifiers from your Apple account , when you have consented for the
platform to share them with app developers.
We only process data that is necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. If you
voluntarily provide more information than requested, you consent to its processing for the stated
purpose(s).
Accuracy: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information that
reflects your real circumstances.
Voice/Images of others: If you submit third-party voices or images, you confirm
you have obtained their prior, express consent for us to process that data solely
to perform the requested translation.
We are not responsible where: (i) a User is under 18/the local age of majority; (ii) an adult’s data
is submitted without their consent; (iii) information you provide is erroneous, incomplete, or
fraudulent. Upon notice, we may notify affected individuals, request confirmation of consent,
suspend services and/or accounts, and delete improperly collected data when technically
feasible.

5) Why we use your data (purposes)
We process personal data to:
1. Provide translations you request (text, voice, images).
2. Administer billing and paid subscriptions for premium features.
3. Respond to your support inquiries about the App/services.
4. Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
5. Protect the App: prevent, detect, and investigate fraud and abuse.
6. Improve the App and user experience using aggregated/de-identified analytics .
7. Show ads related to our App on social media or third-party sites (subject to consent
where required).
6) Legal bases
We rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
Consent : to process content (voice, images, text) for translation; to set non-essential
cookies/SDKs; to receive Apple-shared identifiers for advertising/analytics where you
have consented on that platform.
Legal obligation : to comply with laws, court orders, and requests from competent
authorities.
Legitimate interests : to operate, secure, and improve the App; to prevent fraud/abuse;
and to defend our rights and interests (balanced against your rights and freedoms).
7) Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then retain it in a
restricted state as required by law and for legitimate interests (e.g., handling claims or
investigating fraud). Cookie/SDK data is retained until you revoke consent or as otherwise
required by law—see the Cookies section for controls. When retention ends, we securely
delete the data.
8) Sharing and international transfers
We may share data with:
Service providers/partners that help run the App and subscriptions (e.g., Apple,
RevenueCat, Google LLC, Firebase, Amplitude, Adjust).
Authorities where legally required (administrative, police, judicial).
Legal counsel to respond to claims.
Some recipients may be located outside the EEA . Where applicable, we will transfer data only
to countries with an adequacy decision or implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU
Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data and rights.
9) Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data
against unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, damage, misuse, or unlawful
disclosure.
10) Cookies & similar technologies
In this Policy, “cookies” includes cookies and similar technologies/SDKs that record information
about your device and interaction with the App for purposes such as remembering preferences,
enabling purchases, improving UX, generating aggregated statistics, and measuring campaigns.
When installed: Interacting with the App and purchasing paid services may install
cookies/SDKs—our own or third-party.
Third-party cookies/SDKs: Their use is governed by those third parties’ policies. We
are not responsible for their content or accuracy. Please review their privacy/cookie
notices and controls.
Types of cookies/SDKs
Session cookies : identify you during a session; removed when you close the
app/browser.
Persistent cookies : remain for a set period to remember settings/preferences.
First-party : set by us for our purposes.
Third-party : set by partners/providers (e.g., analytics, payments, attribution).
Technical/necessary : required to operate the App and manage purchases.
Analytics : help us understand usage to improve features and UX (using
de-identified/aggregated data where possible).
We request your consent for cookies/SDKs where required. Consent is not needed for strictly
necessary cookies (e.g., session authentication, purchase flows). Consent may also be inferred
where you adjust your settings to allow cookies.
Managing cookies
You can revoke consent at any time by:
1. Adjusting your device/browser settings to block or delete cookies; and
2. Clearing cookies/identifiers linked to this App.
Blocking cookies may impair App functionality and access to premium services.
For platform-level cookies/identifiers set by Apple or others, please consult their
privacy and cookie settings to review and revoke consent.
11) Your rights
You may exercise your data protection rights (e.g., access, rectification, erasure, restriction,
portability, objection , and withdrawing consent) by emailing gorkemappledev@gmail.com .
We generally respond within 1 month ; this may extend by 2 months if your request is complex
or numerous—if so, we’ll inform you and explain the delay.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you
believe your rights have not been adequately addressed.
12) Jurisdiction
Unless local mandatory law provides otherwise, this Policy is governed by the laws of the
Republic of Türkiye . Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of
Istanbul (Çağlayan) , without prejudice to any mandatory forum provided by applicable data
protection law.
